Responsible Tourism

“Creating better places for people to live in and better places to visit”
The principles of 2002 Cape Town Declaration on Responsible Tourism goes parallel to the Royal Government of Bhutan’s tourism policy of Sustainability, which defines that tourism must be ecologically and environmentally friendly, socially and culturally acceptable and economically viable. M/S Zamling Tours & Travels is positively committed to this policy and operates its tours and adventures on line to the guidelines of Responsible Tourism. We emphasize on minimizing negative economic, environmental and social impacts in areas of our operation. We are genuinely committed to working with our clients and the local communities to promote direct economic benefits at a community level, and to contribute to environmental and cultural heritage conservation; at the same time providing more enjoyable experiences for tourists through more meaningful connections with local people, and a greater understanding of local culture, social and environmental issues. This attitude has certainly fostered a win-win situation, encouraging respect between tourist and the local communities, and building local pride and confidence.
